Forza To Build New Factory In Kent

Forza has announced that plans have been drawn up for the building of a new factory in Kent.

The factory will be using the latest technology and machinery to ensure consistency within the manufacturing processes of Forza’s health supplement products, including slimming pills. All of the company’s ingredients are blended for over 24 hours to ensure that each and every capsule is identical. More of Forza’s products will have branded capsules so that the customer understands that from purchase to consumption, Forza is looking out for them.

Matt Morgan CEO, Forza Group Ltd, said: “Forza is delighted to announce that we will open a new cutting-edge facility in Kent. All of our products are made to GMP standards and our customers can continue to expect the very best weight loss and wellbeing products from Forza. As one of the fastest-growing health supplement companies in the UK, this news is further evidence of our continuing success.”

Kent was an obvious choice for the company when deciding on the location for the new factory due to it being a transport hub. Forza has a growing customer base in Germany and being close to the ports means that its deliveries can arrive faster than if they were dispatched from any other part of the country. In addition, Forza’s directors have been able to make much better use of the Eurostar and Le Shuttle services for meetings in northern Europe, allowing the brand to expand into new markets.

The factory is the latest investment Forza has made into its services and follows the opening of a new Fulfilment Centre in Ashford, Kent. The Centre operates solely to distribute Forza products to retail and trade customers in the UK and Europe. With this new facility the company is able to handle the growing number of packages that are being dispatched daily. From its old Fulfilment office, it could handle 350 packages a day but now that Forza sell trade packs and the retail demand has increased the company is committed to continuous reinvesting in its infrastructure.

Study Reveals Significant Correlation Between Metabolism And Everyday Breathing

According to a recent study released today, individuals with breathing problems, risk of asthma, and their prevalence in individuals whose weight exceeds healthy levels, is on-average 50 percent higher than those maintaining a healthy weight. The study, conducted in collaboration with The Laboratory of the Functional Reserves of the Human Body, Institute of Physiology of the Russian Science Academy, and Innovative Technologies Dept. and commissioned by BreathSlim, Inc., showed that respiration training had a significant impact on metabolism and an individuals ability to lose weight.

The results of the study, particularly those illustrating positive impact to Body Mass Index (BMI), corroborate BreathSlim’s decision to announce the launch of the new BreathSlim a weight loss system designed to modify the body’s traditional breathing cycle, expanding capacity through resistance training. Researchers observed that the average person utilizes 20 percent of oxygen upon inhalation. Training the respiratory system to increase oxygen absorption capacity through adaption of the body’s anti-hypoxia mechanisms, which include metabolism, ultimately contribute to increased weight loss.

“It’s never been easier to achieve a healthy lifestyle through reducing and maintaining a healthy weight. As our most recent study reveals the previously uncorrelated link between weight loss and everyday breathing is actually quite significant,” said Albert Shumoff, chief operating officer and global vice-president. “Moreover, BreathSlim is quick to implement and provides individuals with the methodology and lifestyle changes available today to improve their health and quality of life.”

Survey Key Findings
• 4 percent increase in oxygen absorption
• 3-5 percent improvement in BMI and 4.4-5.1 percent improvement in body fat

Survey Methodology
The study was conducted using volunteers in a three-phase breathing experiment utilizing the original form of equipment. The first phase used breathing through the nose, the second phase used pauses after inhalation, and the third phase used exhalation through the mouth with resistance. Each phase utilized varying combinations of time elapsed pre/post breathing cycle as well as water resistance. Observations were performed with subjects at a state of rest and collected in real-time, post one-month use, and post three-months. Observation methods used include anthropometry (e.g. measurements of height, weight, % of body fat, body mass index, control of blood pressure, heart rate) and spirography gas analyzer Oxyon-Pro Jaeger (e.g. breath volume, speed characteristics of breath, total gas analysis).

Dieting Gets a Makeover

It is time to shine a light on what makes the difference for successful dieting. It is not the diet that matters most. What really counts is paying attention to the psychological side of things.

The new look of dieting is painted into a novel of passionate weight loss called Breaking Up With Food: Maria’s Last Diet. The authors, Julie North Schwarz and Kenneth Schwarz PhD are also the creators of the women’s website, MariasLastDiet.com. The website is a wealth of information about the psychological issues that all too often stand in the way of weight loss.

Breaking Up With Food is a self-help book that pulls the reader deep into a psychological milieu. Maria’s weight-loss journey is a story of suspense, mystery, daring, and victory. It begins with an unintended look in the mirror, and ends in triumph when Maria reaches her goal weight at last.

Breaking Up With Food is fiction, but there’s a real story behind it. It’s a story for any woman who has trouble dieting. It’s for those who can’t stay on a diet; it’s for those who stay on but at some point gain it all back. It’s for those who keep trying and failing; it’s for those who keep dreaming about losing weight; it’s for those who have given up the dream and want it back.

Dr. Schwarz, a psychologist and psychoanalyst, puts it this way: “ This book is meant to inspire and encourage every woman who is still struggling with her weight. It is not, by any means, a rigid set of rules. Instead, reading the book is an uplifting experience. It’s like when you pick a flower, you don’t need to stop and think, this is the stamen, these are the petals, this is the reaction with the sun that makes it this color—no. You pick the flower, it’s beautiful, it gets inside of you, it makes a difference in your life. That’s what Maria’s story is like.”

LighterLife Reveals Secret To Taking Years Off Looks And Feeling 20 Something Forever

LighterLife has announced that it holds the secret to taking years off a person’s looks, adding years to their life and how to feel 20 something for the rest of their days, and with the launch of the BMI4Life campaign it plans to let others in on the secret too.

LighterLife Reveals Secret To Taking Years Off Looks And Feeling 20 Something Forever

The secret to not only looking younger and being healthy inside and out, amounts to three simple little words: Body Mass Index (BMI). Obesity reduces life expectancy on average by 11 years and is responsible for 9,000 premature deaths a year*, making reaching and maintaining a healthy BMI the key to living a long, healthy and vibrant life.

Maintaining a healthy BMI means that a 40 year old can look more youthful, feel like they’re in their twenties and have more energy to do all the things they love – whether that’s running around with the kids, spending more quality time with friends or just giving that special someone a little more attention.

75% of people don’t realise what a healthy BMI is and a shocking 1.7million people are unaware that they have an unhealthy and potentially dangerous BMI.

Dr David Haslam, Chairman of The National Obesity Forum commented: “I see it with my overweight patients all the time: reducing BMI to a healthy level can lead to rapid health and social benefits. Even dropping it by one or two points can literally add years to your life and in some circumstances can actually lead to you feeling younger than your age. More importantly though, it takes pressure off your body’s organs and helps the body to function as it should again.”

LighterLife’s BMI4Life campaign aims to raise awareness of the importance of reaching and maintaining a healthy BMI between 18.5 and 24.9. The campaign which runs until the 23rd May is supported by The Stroke Association as obesity is a key risk factor in strokes, the second biggest killer in the UK.

As part of the campaign, LighterLife is encouraging people to visit the BMI4Life campaign and post a message of support. For every message posted LighterLife will donate £1 to The Stroke Association.

LighterLife Podcast Presents Carole Malone Talking About Her Weight Loss Journey

Carole Malone, celebrity and News of the World journalist, has spoken out about her LighterLife weight loss journey on Inside LighterLife the company’s monthly podcast. Thousands of people across the country will listen to Carole’s story of how she dropped three dress sizes in three months. She tells how Jackie Llewelyn-Bowen inspired her to join LighterLife after seeing her on GMTV and how easy she found LighterLife Total.

Carole began LighterLife Total in October 2009 and admits going to her counsellor Jill Bonney with the ‘wrong attitude’. She said she was grumpy at her first LighterLife session and realised by the fourth day of Total that food had control over her. She met up with Jill and recognised that she wasn’t the only one feeling that way, everyone in the group was in the same boat.

Carole said: “I was desperate having tried and failed every diet over the past 25 years. I needed something radical, I was out of control. I also wasn’t prepared to take a whole year losing three stone on another weight loss programme. When I got on the scales after the first week I lost a whole dress size – the immediate results were motivating and also seeing everyone else in the group lose weight kept me going.”

One person Carole immediately bonded with was Elisabeth Piner who started LighterLife Total at the same time as her and also lost the same amount of weight too. They have remained firm friends and meet up outside of the group for a coffee and catch up. Elisabeth has a dress hire business based in Kingston called ‘Having a Ball Dress Hire’ where they can both now enjoy trying on size 12 dresses.

Research: Facebook Users Are Hiding The Fat Facts

According to new research by LighterLife, millions of Brits* are unwilling to upload their photos to Facebook because they’re so embarrassed by the way they look.

Research: Facebook Users Are Hiding The Fat Facts

45% of women surveyed said they would never put ‘fat’ photos online, while 14% of women un-tag themselves in every single photo of them that appears on Facebook. One in ten women admitted to feeling sick when they saw their picture on Facebook and in extreme circumstances 13% avoid being photographed altogether just in case the photos end up on the social networking site.

Sue Dover, Sales and Marketing Director at LighterLife, which carried out the study, said: ”It’s such a shame that people are not choosing to share their Facebook photos, and in extreme circumstances pretending to look like someone they’re not. It’s indicative of the pressure placed on people, particularly young women, in our society to look a certain way that is causing this to happen.”

Faith Johns, a self-confessed de-tagger said, “I often use older photos from when I was a lot slimmer. If I do put up recent pictures then I’ll be careful only to show my face so it’s harder to see my actual size. Being tagged and seeing how big I am has contributed towards me feeling very low about my weight.”

10% of the 2,000 people surveyed by OnePoll admitted putting out-of-date photos online so people think they look as good as they did when they were younger. Interestingly it appears men are more reluctant to give up the past than women. 10% of men were unwilling to put up recent pictures as they were afraid of what old colleagues and friends would say about how much they had changed, in comparison with 6% of women.

One in ten admitted to using a photo of someone else on their social networking profile, like their dog, an avatar or cartoon drawing, to avoid old friends and work mates seeing the ‘real’ them. Whilst one in twenty even admitted to uploading pictures of a better-looking person, like a more attractive friend, to get more attention from the opposite sex.

But it’s not all bad, as 18% only put recent pictures of themselves online to show old friends and work colleagues how much they have changed. And 13% use Facebook to show people how successful their weight loss has been.
