LighterLife Launches Listen And Learn Podcast Service

LighterLife, the industry leading weight loss and weight-management company, has released the first of a series of monthly podcasts, designed to help people learn how to live healthier, lighter lives.

Titled ‘Inside LighterLife’, this is the place to listen to tips, advice and features on how to lose weight quickly and safely, as well as interviews with health experts, LighterLife Weight-Management Counsellors and real-life people who have struggled with their weight.

Unscripted, conversational and honest – like a morning TV chat show on the run – the first podcast sees host Susan Spence, a multi-skilled presenter who can also be heard on LBC, Radio Five Live and the Steve Allen Show chatting to Dr Hilary Jones about some pressing weight-related medical questions, talking to LighterLife Weight-Management Counsellor Lindsey Thompson-Wright from Loughton, Essex about the stories behind the weight loss of some of her clients and meeting with Rachel Drago, an inspirational client who tells why she believes LighterLife literally saved her life.

Rachel Drago hit the headlines a few months ago after losing five stone with LighterLife and losing 10 inches of fat off her breasts allowed her to discover a lump in her breast that was subsequently diagnosed as breast cancer. Plus listeners will be able to hear how 12 overweight men’s 52 stone weight loss with LighterLife gave them the confidence to strip naked and bare all to raise money for The Prostate Cancer Charity.

Upcoming episodes of the new weight loss podcast, Inside LighterLife, will include further expert advice from Psychotherapist Annie Wilson who will discuss some of the psychological reasons behind overeating, more inspirational weight-loss stories and advice and encouragement for overweight and obese people to lose weight and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Available to download free from iTunes, podcast directories and the LighterLife website, Inside LighterLife gives clients the opportunity to listen to and identify with the experiences of others on the programme. For many clients it will offer a motivational boost and for others it will provide the support they need when they are having a weak moment.

As well as allowing clients to listen and learn more about LighterLife, Inside LighterLife also offers potential clients an inside look into a programme that has helped 150,000 people lose weight and keep it off.

Sara Jamison, CEO, LighterLife commented: “Inside LighterLife is another fantastic additional service that we are offering to both LighterLife clients and all those people out there who have struggled with their weight or who are losing weight using other methods. LighterLife Has Produced A Brand New Calendar To Help Raise Money For The Prostate Cancer Charity

LighterLife has produced a brand new calendar to help raise money for the Prostate Cancer Charity. The calendar features 12 men who have lost weight with LighterLife baring all for the cameras.

These brave men, from various walks of life had a variety of personal reasons for losing weight which ranged from being able to keep up their kids and reducing the risk of bad health, through to wanting to apply to become a fireman. What brought these men together was that they all had the same goal; to lose weight with LighterLife. With their lives changed for the better, they stripped down to not only celebrate their amazing weight loss, but to also raise money and awareness for a charity close to their hearts.

Lee, who posed for the month of January, lost six stone and is now running rings around his young football team. Gary, otherwise known as Mr. February, is six stone lighter and no longer lags behind the rest of his walking group. Lee, or Mr. March, has lost the five stone he put on after being diagnosed with testicular cancer.

Mark, who can be seen in the calendar in April, has a new lease on life and can keep up with his kids after losing four stone. Mike, or Mr. May, is no longer clinically obese and since losing just under three stone, is a faster and more confident water polo player. Five stone lighter, Nuno, or Mr. June, now has the confidence and the BMI to apply for his dream job as a fireman.

Former yo-yo dieter Phil, who posed for July, lost three stone which has given him the confidence to do what he loves – DJ’ing. Steven, or Mr. August, can now enjoy a full game of football without feeling tired and Rod, who features in September, is now training for a triathalon to help maintain his five stone weight loss.

LighterLife weight-management Counsellor Gina Lennon, who coordinated the men during the calendar photo shoot, said: “I’m delighted to have been involved in this project. There has been a great deal of interest and this has definitely put the fun back into fundraising. The calendar boys have achieved so much – losing such large amounts of weight, maintaining their weight loss, overcoming fears about their body image and baring all to raise money for a very worthwhile charity.”

Liposuction on the Increase

The Hospital Group has reported that the number of women having liposuction has increased by 42% in the past 4 years Liposuction has grown in leaps and bounds over the last few years and is often now referred to as liposculpture. Liposculpture creates the same result as the more commonly used term, liposuction or Lipo. Very similarly to liposuction excess fat cells are removed, from almost any part of the body.

However, in contrast to liposuction, the procedure of liposculpture is a more time consuming operation with a greater amount of personal skill required by the plastic surgeon, and creates a smoother end result, changing the contours of your body or face. This cosmetic surgery procedure is suitable for both men and women.

A spokesperson for The Hospital Group, said: “Liposuction is an incredibly popular procedure. With increasing coverage of celebrity bodies, we are seeing more women turn to liposuction to help them create the body they are looking for. Liposuction is a great option for tackling those stubborn areas which can be resistant to diet and exercise.”

The procedure involves insertion of a Cannula (small tube-like syringe) through a small incision in the skin. The fat is then drawn through the tube leaving a much smoother surface. The procedure is carried out under General Anaesthetic.

For those looking to undergo the procedure: the best candidates for liposculpture are those with stubborn areas of fat which are resistant to diet or exercise. This could include the tummy, buttocks, chin, arms, knees etc. A consultation with a Surgeon will help you identify what sort of outcome you could expect and if it is the right procedure for you. For example, liposuction can remove excess fat around the abdomen, but not excess skin. In this case a tummy tuck might be recommended in order to achieve the desired result.

The Hospital Group is one of the UK’s leading providers of Plastic Surgery, number one in Obesity Surgery and Breast Enlargement experts. So whatever your requirements, you’re in safe hands!

Obesity and Society

Obese and overweight people are forecast to cost the nation £50 billion – half the NHS budget for a year – by 2050 if the trend continues unchecked, with diabetes the biggest draw on these figures.*

The NHS spends an estimated £600m a year on treating diabetes – the largest in primary care – and tackling obesity levels in Britain could save an estimate £950 per person each year. **

As well as drug spend, hospital admissions for Britans with problems caused by weight-related diabetes also doubled, from 7,000 in 2003-04 to 14,320 in 2007-08. **

In five years, the total numbers of people admitted to hospital as a direct result of obesity rose by 190 per cent, with 5,056 admissions in 2007-08. **

Leading dietitian and Head of Weight Management Services at The Hospital Group, Cirian Marie-Beddoes, said: “Barely a day passes without the cost of obesity on the NHS being mentioned. It’s a very real fact that as well needing to tackle obesity on a personal level, the nation’s obese must consider what a huge drain their weight-induced health problems are on the NHS.

“Having spent nine years working in obesity in the NHS, I feel that the only way to curb the epidemic is with the support of private healthcare, such as gastric band surgery at The Hospital Group.”

A report on the matter produced these key findings:

• Awareness of the problem is not low. †
• 49% of those questioned blamed their poor diet for their size. †
• 63% blamed a lack of exercise. †
• Stress was blamed by 20% of those questioned. †
• 14% blamed their genes and the same percentage said that they were too busy to do anything about their weight. †
• Giving up smoking, large breasts, beer and ‘emptiness’ were also accredited. †

A separate survey revealed that some overweight people believe their weight has affected their careers. The following are some interesting comments that came from this survey:

“I think it’s natural that people have less respect for you if you are overweight.”

“Some people look upon overweight people negatively in that they feel they cannot control how they eat, which may reflect in working life.”

All figures, unless otherwise stated, are from YouGov Plc. Total sample size was 2056 adults. Fieldwork was undertaken between 5th-7th October 2009. The survey was carried out online. The figures have been weighted and are representative of all GB adults (aged 18+).

OnePoll questioned 4000 adults between 19-21 October 2009. The survey was carried out online and the panel used was aged 16+ and nationally representative.

The Real Cost of Obesity on your Health

Obesity is responsible for 9,000 premature deaths a year in England. It reduces life expectancy by, on average, 9 years. The Department of Health’s Change4Life campaign also advises that after quitting smoking, keeping a healthy body weight is one of the best ways to reduce your chances of getting cancer.

With all these home truths, why are so many people ignoring the real cost that obesity can have on their health?

Leading dietitian and Head of Weight Management Services at The Hospital Group, Cirian Marie-Beddoes, said: “One of the most prevalent health issues for the obese is diabetes. 2.5 million people in the UK suffer from Diabetes and a great proportion of those with Type 2 could be cured if they lost their excess weight. “Obesity is recognised as the main factor in contracting Type 2 diabetes, which can lead to further complications such as foot ulceration, nepthropathy, retinopathy and heart disease – all with serious risks and discomfort for the patient, but also costly to treat.”

Research published by the American Journal for Medicine showed that following obesity surgery, 87% of type 2 diabetics either saw a complete cure or improvement.

Cirian added: “We are in a recession, but eating out has become the norm – the team of dietitians at The Hospital Group find that obese families think nothing of popping out for all-you-can eat pizza or Chinese on a regular basis. “This is the root of the problem. People who maintain a clinically obese body weight have a habit of consuming body-builder levels of calories and of course that has to change with a restricted calorie intake. “But it’s also a case of looking at what makes up a person’s diet. You can consume 1,000 high-quality calories and blossom or the same number of calories in junk food and you’ll be ill.”

The Cost of Obesity on Family Life

Playing with your children, relations with your partner or nights out with friends – all something people take for granted, but obesity can take away.

The Real Cost of Obesity report found that those living with a BMI over 25 begin to notice an effect on their relationships with those closest to them, but at this stage few recognise it is their weight which is dragging them down.

Leading dietitian and Head of Weight Management Services at The Hospital Group, Cirian Marie-Beddoes, said: “The team of dietitians at The Hospital Group see people every day who didn’t consider their weight to be the cause of the problems in their lives until they were ranking well above the 30 BMI level.”

The Department of Health has forecast by 2050, 9 in 10 adults will be overweight or obese* – being overweight is now the norm. “These people often feel terrible about themselves. Our job is to nurture and nourish their love of food, a healthy balanced diet and being socially and physically active.

“The real problem is that those 9 out of 10 adults are today’s children. Without meaning to, some people in Britain are living poorer lives and beginning to set their children on the same track.”

A recent report on the matter uncovered the following:

•Nearly half (45%) admitted their weight prevented them playing with their children and enjoying leisure with their family, with the top five activities ranked as:

o Swapping clothes
o Adventure sports
o Horse Riding
o Rollercoasters
o Bike Rides

•Almost a quarter (22%) admitted their children or family had hinted at embarrassment or concern about their weight – with men experiencing this more than women.

•37% of the obese people questioned said their weight negatively affected their ability to take part in leisure activities.

•22% of the obese people questioned said that their weight had had a negative effect on their sex life.

•11% of the obese people questioned said this had now had a knock on effect on the relationship with their partner.

•Those who felt their weight didn’t stop them doing any leisure activities was directly proportionate to BMI – the heavier being the more affected (with only 30 severely obese respondents).

The Hospital Group is one of the UK’s leading providers of cosmetic surgery and gastric bypass surgery experts. So whatever your requirements, you can rest assured in the safe hands of the professionalism and experience that THG has to offer.

Free Joint Pain Relief Analyzer Launched

While some struggle to relieve daily joint pain, many are overcoming their joint pain quickly and easily. Largely, because they have mastered the proven (but little-known) methods of preventing joint pain from becoming overwhelming, before it’s too late.

That’s the opinion of Joint Pain Relief Today, online joint pain relief resource and designer of this new free tool, the Joint Pain Analyzer.

“Middle-aged individuals today need solid, reliable information on what works in relieving joint pain – and what doesn’t,” says Mary Ogden, joint pain specialist. “As an online joint pain specialist, I have hundreds of people contacting me, asking questions such as:

– How can I relieve my joint pain so I can get started with my day without being slowed-down by joint pain?

– How can I prevent and protect myself against significant joint pain in the first place?

“I designed the free Joint Pain Analyzer tool, to give these folks some of the answers. What makes this joint pain tool different is this: it’s not based upon theories or untested ideas. Each of the methods built into the joint pain analyzer tool has been thoroughly tested. The tool’s answers have been checked by medical professionals and in real-world joint pain relief.”

Unlike many of today’s joint pain services, Ogden points out, this new joint pain tool has been released at no charge. “A lot of organizations and individuals can’t afford to hire joint pain consultants or joint pain relief specialists. And it takes time to read an entire medical book, listen to a CD or attend a joint pain seminar,” notes Ogden. “This free joint pain analyzer has been created for them, and takes less than 2 minutes to get.”

Personal joint pain data analyzed in the free joint pain analyzer include:

– how joint pain is currently affecting the daily life of the patient
– why joint pain prevention is so important and what to do
– where to get effective, free help on boosting your joint pain relief

The Joint Pain Analyzer can be accessed online free, right now by visiting: Joint Pain Relief Today

The free joint pain relief analyzer is available to all individuals – both young and old, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Acurest – The First Non-Invasive, Drug-Free, Predictable Solution For Snoring And Sleep-Related Problems

“Acurest™ finger wraps provide the first non-invasive, drug-free, predictable solution for snoring and Sleep-Related Problems“, says Dr. Gerald Smith, CEO of the International Center for Nutritional Research and author of several books including Headaches Aren’t Forever and Alternative Treatments For Conquering Chronic Pain.

Acurest

The inventor of the Acurest™ Anti-Snoring Device is Eula Mae Pollard – a reflex therapist from Mississippi, United State. Ms. Pollard discovered, in April 2006, that continuous massage to the first joints of the thumbs and index fingers could prevent snoring and other sleep related problems.

This discovery came after twenty-four years of study and the utilization of a simple therapy that helped her and others recover from disabling injuries.

In 1980, Eula Mae Pollard suffered a severe whiplash injury which gave rise to a rare arthritis of the spine and fibromyalgia, Told by a rheumatologist that she would have to take medication for the rest of her life, she worried that this would be no cure for the underlying cause of her condition and decided to research alternative options.

One day as she sat crying, her son handed her a book on reflex therapy, that her grandmother had left her. He said “Here, Mother, read this, it will help you”. She had glanced through this book before and thought it sounded to good to be true, but her son’s words, “It will help you”, touched her deeply.

Eula Mae propped the book up on a pillow as she was unable to hold it up, and could only read two or three chapters at a time because her severe pain and stiffness seemed to distort her concentration and her ability to comprehend. As she was reading she decided out of desperation to prove or disprove whether reflex therapy could relieve pain. In one of the chapters she learned how to stop throat pain, and it so happened that one week later she woke up with a severe sore throat.

Eula Mae considered the sore throat a great opportunity to test reflex therapy. She massaged her right hand as directed in the book, and the pain on the right side of her throat disappeared. She repeated the massage on my left hand, and got the same pain relief on the left side of her throat. In five minutes her throat was completely pain-free.

Eula Mae felt as if God had shown her this, and she thanked him for it immediately.

Her throat pain returned in two hours, so she repeated the therapy every two hours that day, and had less pain every time it returned. The next morning she was pain free.

This proof gave her new hope in finding a solution for her overall body pain and stiffness. She continued to study the book, and continued to massage her hands and fingers in a certain way. Her pain and stiffness began to diminish as days went by. She found that she couldn’t miss a once-daily treatment, and soon regained her health in every respect and started to give reflex treatments to family and friends.

This is what eventualluy gave birth to Acurest™ (Snoring Remedy), a solution to the age-old problem of snoring.

She named the finger wraps Acurest™, because they prevent Snoring and other sleep-related problems. Acurest™ allows one to get accurate rest, when they sleep.

LighterLife Has Conducted A New Survey That Has Revealed The Shocking Scale Of Abuse Faced By Overweight People In Britain

LighterLife has conducted a new survey that has revealed the shocking scale of abuse faced by overweight people in Britain, with nine out of 10 overweight Britons having been called a derogatory name due to their weight.

LighterLife Has Conducted A New Survey That Has Revealed The Shocking Scale Of Abuse Faced By Overweight People In Britain

The survey of over 1,000 adults conducted by weight loss specialist LighterLife, revealed that the younger generation are the worse culprits with 56% of 16-24 year olds cited as responsible for name calling compared to 35% of 55-64 year olds.

When it comes to insulting friends and relatives, men are the most cruel with nearly a third admitting to name calling compared to just 11% of women. Shockingly, 33% of obese or very obese people admitted that they also called others names despite being overweight themselves. And it is friends who appear to receive the brunt of this abuse. Overall, 68% reserved abuse for their friends, 15% insulted their siblings while partners and parents are equal at 10% each.

Mandy Cassidy, a psychotherapist with LighterLife, said: “It’s sad that adults now find such behaviour acceptable, particularly so among the younger age groups, as they could well carry these views as they get older, thus increasing the problem even further.

People can appear to shrug off comments, she added, but inside, they can be devastated: “Often it is only through counselling that the full impact becomes clear – many of our clients have resorted to avoiding social occasions and decline invitations.

“Even some people who appear totally confident say that they become ‘really good liars’ and concoct a range of excuses for not attending events which can drive them indoors to eat as a way of dealing with their hurt and anger, compounding the problem.

“Just because someone is overweight, it doesn’t mean it’s acceptable to insult them. This type of prejudice isn’t tolerated in any other walk of life so we shouldn’t allow it here.”

According To A Recent Survey LighterLife, 62% Of Overweight Women Prefer To Be Under The Covers Before Their Partner Comes To Bed

According to a recent survey by weight loss specialist LighterLife, 62% of overweight women prefer to be under the covers before their partner comes to bed whilst 46% of overweight men would rather avoid sex all together.

Whilst the overweight and obese women surveyed made sure their bodies were firmly out of sight by having sex with the light off (32%), getting undressed before their partner comes to bed (42%) or keeping the bedcovers or nightclothes firmly on (43%), the men preferred to avoid hopping into the sack all together.

The figures emerged in a study of the bedroom habits of 3,000 Brits, which also revealed that more than one in ten obese people haven’t had sex for a year because they are so worried about being seen naked and 8% of obese people claimed they couldn’t remember the last time they had sex. A massive 98% of size 16+ women stated they felt unattractive, and while 68% of obese people said they have never felt sexy, just 12% of those with a normal BMI said the same.

When it comes to frolicking in the bedroom more than one in five said the lack of bedroom activity was because they couldn’t bear the thought of someone seeing them naked compared with just three per cent of those who have a normal BMI.

Mandy Cassidy psychotherapist and consultant for LighterLife, said: “The study shows that being obese affects the mind as well as the body, and reveals the problems faced by so many people.

“For growing numbers of people, it’s a vicious circle – many use food as a substitute for love, and as the pounds pile on, their relationship switches from their partners, to food.

“They need to learn how to break the cycle – and clearly, for those who do, the sauce will not be in the kitchen, but in the bedroom.”

Compare Health Insurance And Explore The World Of Alternative Medicine

Many emerging alternative therapies such as reiki, hypnosis and crystal healing are not yet available on the NHS despite their increasing popularity. Various studies have shown people really do believe in the power of complementary medicine – of course some are still sceptical – and it seems our health service is not keeping up with demand. Private health insurance policies do cover alternative therapies and if you can find the right policy, at the right price, by comparing different health insurance providers using online comparison sites, you will be able to explore the various options available to you.

For those interested but with a lack of knowledge, alternative medicine can be an intriguing and perhaps confusing world – and while they may be keen to seek out some form of treatment for an ailment, they are unsure of what is the correct choice for them. It helps to know exactly what you will get when you put yourselves in the hands of an alternative therapist.

Compare Health Insurance And Alternative Therapies

Acupuncture involves placing needles into specific parts of the body, to treat the symptoms of pain as well as illness and disease. It originates from China and is perhaps the complementary therapy with the most evidence to suggest it works – research suggests it can be effective in providing relief from minor ailments such as headaches and backpain. It can also work well at relieving nausea caused by cancer treatment.

Reiki is used by practioners to channel a persons ‘life force’ by laying their hands on the patient to produce a healing effect. It used to treat mental and physical stress and devotees swear after a session they feel energised and back on form. As it is an ‘energy medicine’ some scepticism surrounds it’s effectiveness, with critics claiming patients are merely experiencing a placebo effect.

Shiatsu, meaning ‘finger pressure’ is a form of Japanese massage – the practioner uses massage to adjust the bodies physical structure and inner energies to ward off illness. It is used to treat conditions such as insomnia, headaches, anxiety, back pain and skin irritations and can improve the nervous and immune systems – again sceptics point to the placebo effect but shaitsu massage has been proven to be effective.

Hypnotherapy involves placing a person in a relaxed state, almost a light trance, and then addressing their fears, addictions and worries. It is gradually being recognised as effective in this area – when a patient is placed under hypnosis their heart rate and metabolism slows and their mind is in a more suggestive state.

Not all private health care providers will cover every single alternative therapy available – there is still a great deal of suspicion surrounding the more ‘out there’ ones. If you are interested in having access to alternative medicine compare health insurance providers to find the right insurance for your needs.

Expert Reveals Simple Secrets To Lifelong Weight Loss

You can finally lose weight and keep it off forever… just by thinking like a fit person. That’s the promise of a new book, Die Fat or Get Tough: The 101 Differences in Thinking Between Fat People and Fit People by Steve Siebold. It’s a new approach to helping two thirds of Americans who are overweight or obese.

“It’s about learning and using mental toughness to stick to a diet and exercise program,” says Siebold, an internationally recognized mental toughness expert who lives in North Georgia and South Florida. “It’s so simple that anyone can use mental toughness. This will be the last book you’ll ever need to read on weight loss.”

The author was recently a “fat tub of lard with a large pot belly.” The information in the book helped him lose 40 pounds in 12 weeks, and he hasn’t had a problem since.

Here is a question and answer session with Steve Siebold:

What is the book about?

“It’s not about the fact that diets don’t work or getting fat wasn’t your fault. Of course, it was your fault. Someone wasn’t stuffing pizzas and doughnuts down your throat. You did. It’s not all about diet or weight loss or exercise.

“It’s about learning and using mental toughness to stick to a diet or exercise program. It’s about thinking – consciousness. Mental toughness is about taking mental and emotion control of your life, and it begins with self-discovery. But mental toughness can get you thin and healthy.”

What do you mean by the title, Die Fat or Get Tough?

“Overweight people have only two options in life. Die fat or get tough! Two thirds of Americans are overweight or obese, says the federal government, and the number is increasing rapidly. This is a giant health problem.”

So is mental toughness the secret to losing weight?

“Yes. Dieting is not easy, but it is simple. Just pick a world-class diet and exercise program and develop the mental toughness to stick to it. It’s the only effective way to shed unwanted pounds. You can develop mental toughness by understanding the 101 differences in thinking between fat and fit people explained in the book.”

What’s so different about this book?

“There’s a million diet books out there. But this book is a new approach to losing weight and getting fit that is so simple that anyone can use it. And it will be the last book you ever need to read on weight loss. You’ll think about being fat like you never have before. That’s why I believe my book is so unique and effective.

“It’s really hard-hitting. It will eliminate every excuse you’ve ever made for being fat. It will force you to see yourself as others see you. You will learn that getting fat is really your fault – completely your fault. And it will help you emerge victorious over your weight problem. You will begin to believe you can do anything – that you can live a long, healthy life, filled with boundless energy and super self confidence.”

Who is the book written for?

“If you are 10 or more pounds overweight and ready to get fit, this book can be the answer. It’s for anyone who really wants to lose weight, wants to get tough, do it and solve it for once so it never comes back. I’m not talking about some fad diet where you lose some weight and gain it back. I’m talking about wiping out all excuses and solving your weight problem once and for all.

“The people who really work hard at controlling their weight have a mindset – it’s mental toughness. And you can adapt this mindset and understand how fat people think versus how fit people think. If you catch yourself thinking like a fat person, you’ll know how to change it to a fit person’s thinking.

Why did you write this book?

“I wrote it to shock people out of the psychological delusion that keeps them fat, sick, and unhappy…and into reality about what it takes to get fit forever. People are suffering needlessly, getting sick and dying too young because they’re fat. This book has the power to change that, if the reader is tough enough to grow up and accept objective reality.”

How did you gather the information in the book?

“I did five years of research and interviewed hundreds of fat and fit people across the United States and dissected their core beliefs and philosophies around diet and exercise. What I found were fit people have completely different beliefs and philosophies in this area, and these beliefs and philosophies drove their eating and exercise habits. The differences in thinking are so extreme I decided to write a book about it.”

I understand that the book has been called “disturbing.”

“One of my colleagues called my book a disturbing masterpiece. This book will shock you. It will grab you by the throat and not let you go. I’ve had people tell me they get mad at the book, toss it aside for a while and then pick it back up. I’m known for being direct, but this book is borderline offensive. People all over the world say they are shocked with the approach or offended but couldn’t disagree with anything I wrote.”

What is your background?

“I am an internationally recognized expert in mental toughness, and I once was a fat slob! I train sales management teams of Fortune 500 companies, address some 60 live audiences a year and rank among the top 1% of income earners among professional speakers worldwide. I have written two books on mental toughness. The late Bill Gove, the father of public speaking, and I formed the Gove-Siebold Group, based in Boynton Beach, Florida. I co-starred in the movie “Beyond the Secret”, which is to be released June 23, 2009.

“I live in South Florida and in the Atlanta, Georgia metropolitan area with my wife Dawn, a dog and two sugar gliders.”

How can someone get this book and your other books?
